Wheel Mouse/3 Button Support... when??

Hello, I have a Trust Ami Pro Scroll mouse, it does not work under
QNX, so when will support for such mice be available… 3 button wheel
mouse are quite common now so surely a patch should be a priority?

What QNX are you writing about? If it is 6.0 or later, wheel 5-button mice
have been already supported for a long time.

Not according to the the QNX Knowledge Base…

Q: Mouse problems
I just downloaded and installed QNX, I have a three button mouse, the
only thing is QNX don’t seem to handle mouse correctly. Windows keep
opening when I move the mouse.

A: Currently the input drivers are being worked on. There have been
many changes from QNX 6.0 to QNX 6.1 and there will be many more
changes to come. These problems should be ironed out in the next
patch.

The version of QNX I downloaded was 6.1, my Ami Scroll Pro 3 button
mouse does not work correctly, it seems to have a mind of its own and
QNX is useless while this is so to me, is there a setting I ca adjust
to remedy this Alex?

Thanks for your time

I guess you are speaking about two-wheel mouse. If it is correct, as far as
I understand, this mouse uses non-standard protocol and works only with
drivers, provided by manufacturer. For example, it is not in supported
hardware list for RedHat Linux, and Windows2000 driver base also doesn’t
include driver for this device.
Probably in next release of QNX RTOS we’ll implement driver for this mouse.
