Boot Image Location

Hi All,

I installed QNX 6.1 on a fresh clean harddrive but did not limit the
partition size to below 1024 cylinders. Now my boot image is above the 1024
cylinder mark. Is there a way to force the image below 1024 without having
to limit the partition size? I thought since I was installing on a clean
disk with no partitions that it would copy the boot image into the first
1024 automagically but it didn’t.

Yup, unfortunatly there isn’t any promise that since the drive is “clean” that
it will be filled up from start to finish :frowning:

Best move is if you have just installed, re-partition, then re-install, it will
be faster. Otherwise you can use something like Partition Magic to repartition
you drive.

How this helps.
