Which Ethernet CARDS?

I look at the QNX site for info on which cards to buy for my office
development systems, and all I get is a list of chipsets. So I go to the
Vendor site and look at various cards specs, manual’s etc, etc… And I get
Card names/numbers, but not chipsets. Where do I get a cross reference?

Hi,

Goto the manufactures website and you will be able to find the chipset number for
the the NICs they make.

Here are two examples of webpages from 3com and Intel where it tells the chipset
used in the specified product.

http://www.3com.com/products/en_US/prodlist.jsp?tab=cat&pathtype=purchase&cat=20&selcat=Network+Interface+Cards&family=624
http://support.intel.com/support/network/adapter/pro100/21397.htm

You can also do a search on the chipset value on a sites like google and yahoo that
will usaually bring up links to pages which will have this info.

Regards,

Joe
