As pkg-installer is unable to connect through a proxy, I wanted to
download the pkg-installer patch A qpm and qpk files to upgrade it
first, and then upgrade qrtp to patch A.
but pkg-installer complain about the missing licence file.

What to do?
Look into qpm files:
ph-pkg-inst-2.0.2-patchA-qnx.qpm
ph-pkg-inst-2.0.2-patchA-x86-qnx.qpm
Hi Jerry,
Thank you very much. It works. Some thing is outside of my understanding. My workstation is behind
proxy. But I can bypass proxy through telnet session with some linux server in LAN of my ISP
[ed1k@linux ed1k]$ ping packages.qnx.com
PING packages.qnx.com (216.220.38.2) from …
So, I see the server of my ISP resolves the correct IP by name… Then again, link to http://216.220.38.2/repository/lic/license.txt
works through proxy, but link to http://packages.qnx.com/repository/lic/license.txt
causes an error 404.
The same situation with other link, except error is 403. And finally I can reach the page in both
case (URL with name or URL with IP) by using lynx browser from linux. It’s very odd for me. What is
wrong with my proxy? My QNX system is at home without any net and I have to download all stuff here
at office. Security rules of my company does not allow me to work bypass proxy
Anyhow, that is really good suggestion.
Thank you again,
Eduard.
