How do I download patch B (and C) for QNX 6.0? There has been some posts
about this earlier but those places doesnt work anymore. We are not ready to
go to QNX 6.1 yet!!!

I have Patch C that I can upload to an FTP site. I however am desperate for
Patch B.
Both CDs I have received from QNX are screwed up (all filenames are in upper
case)
and I have wasted days of development time trying to fall back to 6.0C from
6.1A
(I foolishly upgraded via their package manager instead of burning a CD).
You know, it seems very bizarre to me that QNX does not keep copies of
previous
releases on their website anywhere. I hope this is not a sign of their
support approach
in the future. I would hate to think that they would leave developers on a
particular
platform out in the cold just because they won’t (or in my case can’t)
upgrade.
Sorry for the rant - just tell me where to upload patch C and I’ll do so.

I sent you login and pass via mail.
I can understand that QNX does not want to keep downloadable copies of
previos realeses, but I don’t undertand why on their support pages there is
no previous version patches avaliable. A patch is a patch, not a release,
and there are many people that cannot upgrade their 6.0 system to 6.1
because their programs cannot be compiled on new version, due C++ library
changes (e.g. ACE).

After a bit of ranting and raving on my part, QNX has finally seen the
light.
http://packages.qnx.com/CD_archives/
The above link gives you access to ISO images for 6.0, 6.0B and 6.1. I have
a patch C tarball that I can email to anyone interested. I have burned a
6.0B CD from the ISO image and performed a clean installation.
