Installation on single machine

Hi!

Is it possible to install the 6.1.0 CD-ROM on a single machine without
any other OS installed (-> 1 big partition)?

I intent so, but it returns me the message:
“No QNX 6.1.0 or greater filesystem found…”
after EIDE and SCSI check.

Thanx a lot.
Steve

Hi Steve,

Yup, just boot up from the QNX CD and it will start the installer
for you.

Erick.

Hi Erick.

I’m sorry, but this doesn’t work. Just receive a message like this:
“No QNX 6.1.0 or greater filesystem found…”

Hi Steve,

It should work without any problems. Actually you should even be able
run the OS in a ‘test’ mode right from the CD. What is the sequence
of the messages you get when you boot from the CD?

Thanks

Erick.
