Speedo driver

Did someone have any problem with this driver?

I use Rocky 3782EVF sbc with two 1GHz PIII. This board has video, Ethernet
and FireWIre on board. The Ethernet controller is 82559 from Intel. I
checked device ID (1229) that is supported by QNX 6.1. However, I have some
problems. When I boot this board 1 time out 4, 5, sometimes 6, the boot
process freeze on Ethernet controller. When I deactivate this controller in
BIOS everything is ok but don’t have network connection anymore. I tried a
lot of configuration of BIOS and I even tried to set this controller in the
script at the and of the boot process (rc.local) but my board still freeze
from time to time when I load this driver. Any suggestions ?

TIA

Adam

It should be Rocky-3742EVF not 3782.

Adam

Hi Adam,

Have you tried the updated speedo driver from developers.qnx.com?

Also we are revamping this driver right now. So the next new release of
it should have alot of fixes to it.

Erick.

Hi Adam,

Can you mention a reference to the “Rocky” SBC, like Web site, etc?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Erick,

I updated driver from developers.qnx.com and did some tests. It seems to
work correctly now.
Thanks a lot.

Adam
