Hello,
I’m having trouble running QNX’s devb-doc driver with my diskonchip, part
number MD2202-D256-X. I used the DOS utilities to format it with
DOC514P.EXB, and downloaded the most recent devb-doc driver (v5.1.4p3).
The address of the DOC is 0xDC000 - no memory shadowing is enabled for
this region.
I run the driver, and get the following output:
slay devb-doc
devb-doc doc addr=0xDC000,verbose
DiskOnChip driver, ver. 5.1.4p3

Debug: media is not fit for NFTL format.
devb-doc: flAbsMountVolume() failed

I’ve read that the larger DOC2000, including my 256 Mb version, use the
INFTL format instead of NFTL. I tried looking for a devb-doc option that
might tell the driver to access the DOC using INFTL format, but I couldn’t
find anything.
Please let me know what I should do to mount the disk on chip.
Thanks!
