Frame grabber support

Does anyone know of a (color) frame grabber that works with QNX 6.1 (either
through a company’s supported drivers or self-made drivers)?

If you have any suggestions, please respond or send an email to me.

Thanks,
Matt Herberg

We have custom drivers for Brooktree/Conexant Bt878 series IC’s for QNX RTP
6.x that support frame grabbing from a video input. They also support most
common
(Alps, Philips, Temic) tuner IC’s, support video pass thru, etc.

If you are interested in them, please feel free to contact us for pricing.

What frame grabbers support this chipset? We have an Imagenation PXC200
that we used on a QNX4 application and now wish to port it to RTP? Will
these drivers support this card?

I’m not familiar with the Imagenation PXC200. Who manufacturers
it and what video chipset does it use? Or is it based on custom IC’s
and/or discrete components?

I wish I knew the chipset they used. It has their logo inplace of any chip
markings (maybe its an ASIC). Actually, I don’t think that it is because I
remember someone saying something about the chipset…

The company is Imagenation, their web site is the same
(www.imagenation.com).

WAIT!

I just discovered that the imagenation logo was in fact a sticker and not
actually printed on the IC…

Looks like…Bt848AKPF! Close to the 878 I imagine (no pun intended), if
you don’t have a driver, maybe I can find some printed docs somewhere for
this chipset…

Aha!

The Bt848 is the immediate predecessor to the Fusion878 series
and, for the most part, they are almost 100% register compatible.

Odds are, our QNX drivers would run with minimal changes.

If you want to pursue this farther, please send me some e-mail
and we can discuss your exact requirements and what all would
be involved.
