partition question

Hi,

I want to install QNX 6.1 on my notebook. Currently I
have 3 partitions : 1=Win XP (10G), 2=NTFS for data (10G) and
on for free usage 3=… (8G). All three are primary.
On no. 3 QNX should be installed.

My Question : is there some restriction like it has to be under the
1024-limit?

TIA,

Ralf

Depends on what loader you choose.
Methinks you’ll have more problems with WinXP than with QNX in this
regard…

I don’t want to bore you, but there’s nobody else around for me to bore.

Hi Ralf,

Depends on which loader you installed. During the installation
you have the choice of which loader you want to use. Make sure
you don’t pick the ‘old’ loader as this has the 1024 Cyl limit
on it.

Erick.
