Yeah…will it (QNX) accept an address assigned by an external device
(router) or does the address have to be configured within QNX then assigned
in the router’s configuration?
Well if your router has a dhcp server on it, then simply run dhcp.client
on the QNX side, then everything should be happy. The manual config
can be done as well.

Not sure what you mean here… you mean an IP address? (dhcp.client)
or you can use phlip in Photon to setup the networking.
