Trouble w/6.1 and Radeon card

I’ve got a 1 Ghz Duron system, with a PCI Radeon card… QNX installed
without any difficulties and detected my video card perfectly. However,
from the response time and CPU utilization when I move the mouse, it seems
as though I’m running a VESA emulation or something. Checked the Graphics
control panel, and sure enough the Radeon driver is installed and
functioning. But the mouse seems to “lag”, and CPU hits 100% utilization
whenever it’s moved. There are no video artifacts or other indications of a
problem with the card, aside from extremely slow response.

Any thoughts?

Never mind… On a hunch I unplugged my mouse from my Linksys KVM and
plugged it directly into my system, and the lag problems went away. What is
odd though is that the KVM affected CPU utilization - it would peg itself at
100% as if it was drawing a software cursor (and having troubles doing it).
Haven’t seen this behavior in other operating systems w/this KVM, only QNX.
Go figure.

Anyhow, all is well now.
