DE-660+ nic problem

Hi,

in my notebook I have a DE-660+ pcmcia card, which should be supported.

pin says:

Sock Func Type Flags PID Base Size IRQ
1 0 Network C—I-±–X----- 81933 0x200 32 7
1 Empty ----MF---------- None
2 Empty ----MF---------- None
2 Empty ----MF---------- None

Now I have a further installation on my desktop. Although both use dhcp,
my notebook-installation can’t detect the dhcp-server. Is this a nic-problem
or am I doing something wrong?

TIA,
Ralf

Can you post output of “pidin ar”, “nicinfo” and “netstat -in” ?

Pavol Kycina

It looks like you have a problem with IRQ5 (xxx bytes sent, but 0 packets
sent). Try to assign other IRQ to the card. (start devp-pccard with -lX
parameter, where X is free IRQ. Try 7,9,10,11. Consult these with output of
pci -v).
