Tulip network driver grief

I have a Linksys LNE 100/10 Version 2 card. It uses the LiteOn tulip like
chipset.

This card works great with Windoze, Linux, QNX 4.25, etc.

Under QNX RTP the card is recognized fine with the tulip io-net driver and
I can do a “nicinfo” where all is reported well (MAC address, IRQ, etc.).
However, as soon as I try to send packets on the card (eg: ping, telnet,
etc), my machine locks up hard (power button reboot required). I’ve tried
the card in two separate machines with different hardware configurations
with the same results on both machines.

Anyone have this card working, that can suggest some alternate software
settings?

Cheers,

Todd Meade

No, not yet. I am working on getting this card working as we speak.
This and the NetGear FA310TX. They are both tulip cards but with small
differences (rather large in the case of the LinkSys) that prevent them
from working with the current tulip driver.

I hope to have an update for people on http://staff.qnx.com/~cdm/networking/
sometime this week.
