Bootable games...

How much would it cost, for licenses and stuff like that, to do a
bootable(ala PSX) game running a custom neutrino image with photon +
opengl and nothing else?That could give us amiga standalone games times
back…

But the problem with this is that it wil only work with hardware that exists
at program launch time.
And I would hate to be unable to play my old games just because I got a new
gfx/sound card.

I didn’t think about that…:frowning: Still you could provide both ways of
running the game: if you insert CD at boot time you get a
P(C)laystation, but nothing forbids you from booting into neutrino and
running the game from there… :wink:
