It's soon the week-end!

As I couldn’t start, from the 2nd machine an application giving its path
to the first machine (see ‘qnet ignore prefix’ article), I tried, from
the 1st machine to launch my app to the 2nd machine by the ‘on’ utility.

So, I ask use for on to know how it works on qrtp. I got
on - execute…

options:

-n nid spawn on remote node

Ok, ok, that’s good on qnx4 but certainely not on qrtp.

Try with the helpviewer
on

execute a command on another node or tty (Neutrino)

syntax:

Wonderfull I though first but I quickly realized that what I want seems
not in doc yet. or not clear enough for me (it’s the week-end soon!).

I’m wrong ??

Alain.

As far as I know, you can’t yet use “on” to execute a command on another
node. The options for doing that are commented out in the docs, but the
summary is wrong. I’ll fix the summary.

Thanks for pointing this out.

This is correct. Several things are not being able to crossing network
yet (Signals, Pulses). That saying “on -n” or “slay -n” is not working
cross network, yet.
