I want to send a file from my RTP system to my QNX4 system over the
serial port. I get the connection made in qtalk (I can type on the RTP
system and see it on the QNX4 system), but when I try to send the file
the RTP system hangs. If I wait a long time it will come back with qcp:
Unable to detect remote qcp. Then I have to slay the pterm I ran qtalk
from because it is hosed up. Anyone know what is wrong?
qcp is a program that is not part of qtalk, if you type qcp
in a QNX4 shell you 'll see what I mean.
Qcp hasn’t been ported to Neutrino.
I have ported qcp on Neutrino RTP for the PowerPC.
Only upload to RTP works yet ( I have debug download since
I don’t need it for now) If you are interested I can send what
I got.
Or you can get qcp on QNX ftp site and port it yourself.

Any suggestions on how to send a file from QNX RTP to QNX4? I am trying to
convert an embedded QNX4 system to RTP - the only way I can see to get the
file over is by serial port…

ftp and nfs come to mind. Is the serial port the only way you have to
connect to the emebedded system?
