PCI Modem that WORKS in RTP!

FYI:

The 3Com/USR 56K Performance Pro PCI Modem
(http://www.usr.com/products/home/home-product.asp?sku=3CP5610A)
actually seems to work correctly under RTP!

It is a true hardware based modem with a nice STANDARD
serial interface that looks like a good old fashioned UART
just hanging off the PCI bus.

Plugged it in, RTP found it as /dev/ser3 in my box, dialer accesses
it, etc. All is good with the world.

Its an expensive little beastie ($58 wholesale OEM w/out voice)
but considering the number of boards that don’t have ISA slots anymore
the availability of a PCI modem that works properly under
QNX,DOS,LINUX,etc is good thing to know of.
