vme support?

Hello again,

There seems to be some inconsistencies in terms of VME support
under QNX 6.

This page http://www.qnx.com/products/os/neutrino.html
at the bottom says:

QNX also supports many buses, including ISA, PCI, CompactPCI, VME, STD,
STD 32, and PC/104.

But I haven’t found any board vendors that claim support for anything newer
than QNX 4. Most of the new (Intel PIII) boards seem to have the Tundra
Universe II PCI-VME bridge chip, but would otherwise seemingly work
with QNX 6.

Could someone at QSSL please post an update on VME support under RTP?
I’m specifically interested in Pentium (single and dual) based boards, and
any
specific VME boards out there that are already supported under RTP.

Thanks,

-Arthur

PS Cheers for adding the note on DMA mode issues to the supported hardware
page!

I wrote a resource manager (in C++) for a Tundra Universe II on an SBS V5B
Pentium Board. I wrote an interface class that other processes can use to
access the VME bus via the resource manager. I did not write any VME
interrupt handling support yet. Let me know if you’d like to see some
examples.
