Connection to the QNX6 ftp server can take very long time.
I remember a post about that but don’t recall the answer nor
can I find it in QDN (god I really wish the post would be
archive somewhere)
Any clue?

We had the same problem and the solution was that the machine that you are
doing ftp to (your QNX6 ftp server) has to know about the machine you are
doing ftp from.
We solved it by putting the ‘from’ machine in the /etc/hosts file. This
solution is of course not very usefull if your ftp server is supposed to be
some kind of public ftp server.
What the problem is I don’t know.
