How do I Network Boot a Diskless QNXRTP system?

I am almost there.

I have a pc104 computer stack w/ an ethernet card w/ a boot prom from 3Com
(Lanworks Tech. 800.808-3000, They’ve been a great help)
I used the shell.bld example to make a boot image with mkifs and configured
bootptab, etc and I can boot from the network. (but all I get is a simple
shell).

I want to have our applications ~3 Mbytes on the system, and this 500k boot
image limit makes it hard.

I couldn’t build a system with io-net ttcpip and telnet etc.

What should I do?

Any Help greatly appreciated.

Limit is actually 632K and it should fit networking. It does for me anyway.

You mean you could not fit it or you don’t know how to do it? You’re looking
to fit everything into image or you want to mount an NFS server and work
from there?
