TI Thunderlan NIC

Anyone know when RTP will get a TI Thunderlan driver? It’s used in a lot of
Compaq desktops and servers.

This is a very interesting NIC chip because it also supports VG AnyLAN. If a
driver were available, it would provide a deterministic, high-speed LAN.

Does anybody know if a PCI plug-in using this chip exists?

It does not have 100VG PHY on chip, you’d have to interface it to an
external one. So it would have to be a custom board based on chip.
