Is there any support for a non-standard display-size, like 16:9 displays ?
Is it possible to modify a standard grafic-driver to support my display?

Hi Norbert,
This should be possible with certain graphics drivers (i.e. those
with “direct” mode switchers) such as i810, banshee, tnt radeon
and ati_rage128.
With these drivers, you can specify any X and Y resolution you
want, via the -g option (with some restrictions; typically the
X resolution must be a multiple of
