Missing Online Documentation

I have been using the “Building Embedded Systems” online manual. It is
not listed separately, but the System Admin Guide (wip) had a link to it
in the chapter on building a Custom OS image. I found that manual most
helpful. (I was - and am - trying to build large network bootable
images, and am running into some problems.)
Recently, however, that link has become non-functional…
Is this by intent?
If so, should I post my questions and problems here for help in
resolving?
If not, how do I get access to that manual again?

As of 6.1.0, the Building Embedded Systems manual
has been moved from the core QNX OS bookset to
the “Embedding SDK for QNX 6” package.

The links should work fine once you’ve downloaded this package.

In article <9n5bh0$mu$1@nntp.qnx.com>, dkinsman@qnx.com says…

Thanks for the answers.
However, I have some more questions…
How do I download the “Embedding SDK for QNX6 package”? I can see no way
of doing that.
How will that enable access to a remote web page?
(by online manual, I was referring to the documentation available on the
QDN website, not the Helpviewer docs)

The Embedding Kits (Board Support Packages) are now available online at

http://commercial.qnx.com/

In order to install the Embedding kits, License Keys are required as the
Packages are encrypted. Once you’ve purchased the License Key
you’ll be able to install the software.

The Embedding Kits are not available on CD and are ONLY available via
the online Repository. The next Commercial CD Distribution of QNX 6.1.x
should include the Embedding Kits.
