SanDisk Compact Flash / PCMCIA not working

I have a SanDisk 32 MB compact flash module in a PCMCIA adaptor that works
fine under Win98 and QNX4. Under QNX6 nothing is detected - pin tells me
that all sockets are empty.

The PCMCIA bridge is 02Micro and it works OK with my Socket EA LAN card
although I have to start devc-pccard with a -W8 option. The LAN card has
been removed and the -W8 option disabled for the moment.

Can anyone help?

Hi Jim,

The card gets seen by the system when it is inserted. Could you
please try the latest pci-bios from developers.qnx.com

Then try the following:

Start system
Slay devp-pccard
Slay pci-bios
Start New pci-bios
Start devp-pccard

Insert the card and see if pin catches the card.

I assume you are running QNX 6.1

Also if this does not work please post the output of pci -vvv

please try the latest pci-bios from developers.qnx.com

Then try the following:

Start system
Slay devp-pccard
Slay pci-bios
Start New pci-bios
Start devp-pccard

Insert the card and see if pin catches the card.

Just to reiterate, the CompactFlash card works fine under Win98 and QNX4. My
network card works OK under all OSs. Doesn’t this rather point the finger at
devp-pccard?

Sorry, I must have missed this when I read the groups last. My appologies.
I have pointed this issue out to our pccard developer. I checked the code
and the controller you are using is supported. There may be another utility
that I will need you to run. I will send you the utility via e-mail. Please
run this with the card inserted and the driver started (devp-pcard) then
send us the output.
