I have tried for some time to find out how to set the MTU value in 6.1. My
machines are behind a Linux router with masquerading and PPTP. This forces
me to set the MTU to 1435 to aviod problems with certain web sites. I’ve
tried to use icfonfig with ‘mtu 1435’ but this returns an error. If I put
the same info on a line in net.cfg it is ignored. Any suggestions…?

The ethernet drivers should have a option to pass in the MTU of the device.
Check the documentation for your ethernet driver in the help file.
