The first module of the QNX 6 (Neutrino) Video training is available!
This module is the “Processes and Threads” section, and closely follows the
content of the “Getting Started with QNX Neutrino 2” book’s section of the
This video is the first in a line of video training products.
Since this is the first one out, I’m looking for people who’d like to purchase
it and can act as beta sites. With your purchase, you’ll get one year’s worth
of updates as they become available.
The pricing structure is as follows:
USD$995 is the list price for the set of video training tapes (of which
the ‘Processes and Threads’ section is the first). This includes
one copy of the course notes and one copy of the “Getting Started”
USD$295 is the list price for each additional student workbook and copy
of the “Getting Started” book.
The idea is that if you need to train 10 people, you’ll spend USD$995 for the
training video (and one set of materials) and then 9 x USD$295 for the additional
students, for a total of USD$3650 – significantly cheaper than any other
form of training!
Now, since this is the first release of the product, I’m offering a 30% discount
off the price, and free updates for a year. The discount is to help offset the
fact that the other videos won’t be available for another month or so – they’ll
be shipped to you when they become available.
You can order with a VISA card at this price until the end of January 2002 by
calling +1 877 727 7379.
