Does RTP support the D-Link DFE-530TX+ card? It does not get recognized.
The pci utility shows the vendor ID as D-Link but does not recognize the
device ID.
Looking at this card I almost feel like it is a WinNetwork card. It has
pretty much just one chip on the whole damn card.
They’re kind of a hole in the wall, and you have to pay
through the nose for shipping, but I got the card in two
days, so whatever.
Following this, I purchased two of the 3Com cards Tom mentions
and both systems came up with NO FUSS.

I have some DFE-530 TX+'s, and attempted to tell devn-rtl the device ids of
the card. devn-rtl loaded, but didn’t work. Did they do more than just add
the device/vendor id?

I know you probably didn’t want to hear a “Just can it and buy these”
remark, but I thought I’d pass it along anyway…

For what it’s worth…
In line with that, I’m using LinkSys LNE100TX cards, versions 4.0
and 4.1 because they were cheap ( under $25 at BestBuy ) and work
with all OS’s I have available to me.
