I guess, I don’t really care how it is implemented, but there needs
to be an event to tell servers that power is going to go away,
flush your data, and for the file systems, go into synchronous mode.
Since that currently is not being done, and it would appear that
the clean bit never gets set in the file system I am going to have
to re-invent the wheel. Simply put we have to perform a chkfsys
when the system comes up, no matter how the system is shutdown,
the file system’s status is never clean.
I guess this could be added to my it worked/feature on/in QNX 4,
how about QNX 6 list.
