Hi all,
i’m trying to figure out if is there a “Momentics edition” for the PowerPC.
I’ve seen that neutrino is compatible with some PowerPC processors including
a IBM RS6000 that y’m using at university’s lab.
So, my question is, “Is there a installation CD (or something-like) for the
PowerPC, like the x86”?
Or the compatibility is stricted to embedded systems?

Hi Leandro,
The QNX Momentics development suite is hosted only on x86 systems (Neutrino,
Windows XP/2K, Solaris 7/8).
The QNX Neutrino RTOS can run on PPC…you would require an x86 system to
develop the system images and binaries for your PPC target.
So in short…use QNX Momentics development suite on an x86 system to create
images and binaries to run QNX Neutrino on your PPC target system.

Just to clarify, we run on SPARC Solaris, not x86 Solaris.
The QNX Neutrino RTOS can run on PPC…you would require an x86 system to
