Hi,
I updated RTP 6.2.1 (not the beta) which included an updated version of
‘/usr/bin/cvs’. This new cvs seems to have a problem with pserver:
[/home/mdl]$ echo $CVSROOT
:pserver:cvsmdl@192.168.0.7:/CVS
[/home/mdl]$ cvs login
Logging in to :pserver:cvsmdl@192.168.0.7:2401/CVS
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: can’t set close-on-exec flag on 3: No such process
[/home/mdl]$
The previous version of cvs (1.11) works fine in both the 6.2.1 and updated
6.2.1 environments. Is this is known issue, or pilot error?
