Toshiba notes!!! For all users.

Hello,

Since I am running in one laptop RTP and the laptop is Toshiba I would
like to notice really slow performance with Photon:

-slow redrawing of text lines in pterm
-xterm is faster but there is no support for locale than C and I have a
Finnish keyboard :frowning:
-CTRL-ALT 1 and CTRL-ALT 2 make a redraw really slow of the desktop
background and the panel
-Still I am using the VGA address C000h in BIOS to run correctly Photon.
Otherwise is not running.

Some news about Toshiba models and why it seems so slow redrawing in
CT65554 models ?!?
I run Photon with 15bit Color 32K Accel=Yes.
If I switch to 256 colors is a bit better than 15K. But anyway I have
2MB and I would like to take advantage
of my memory.

If you bring up the graphics configuration, what does it display in the
box labelled “Video Driver” at the top of the window?

This is old story.
this problems has been reported since September. CT65554 is the chipset
of my video card.
I reported with full details you can search the newsgroup.

I am running 800x600x15 mode.

To be more exact:

io-graphics -g800x600x15 -dldevg-chips_hiqv.so -IO -d0x102c,0xe4
