QNX DEVELOPERS Porting

Hello everyone,

I have written a research paper (together with a colleague of mine in the Department of Computer Science, University of Botswana) on porting a benchmark suite (AIM VII) to QNX. This is part of a bigger research project to study micro-kernels.

The paper was published in the SACLA (Southern African Computer Lecturers Association) 2005 conference held in Botswana early July.

I have attached the paper.

I would appreciate feedback and ideas.

what were the results of the benchmark then ? :slight_smile:

Hello gubbe and other colleagues,

Find attached the performance results. Linux performance was better for this “general-purpose” workload but it crashed before it reached the QNX max load level.
