Getting default menu back in 6.1

Previously, when running QNX 6.0, I had customized the menu at the right
side of the screen. When I upgraded to QNX 6.1, my old menu was preserved
(obviously so as to not disturb anything I’d customized), but I didn’t get
any of the new items found in the default menu for QNX 6.1. Is there any
way I can “reset to default” so that I pick up the vanilla task bar?

Thanks,
David

Try creating a new user ID. That user shoud get the new default menu. Then
you can pick and choose the new options that you want to include in your
menu.

This is probally the safest way to do it, but if you don’t even
know what to look for, these are the files that you’d be concerned
with:

~/.ph/wm/wm.cfg (Window Manager options - colours, etc)
~/.ph/wm/wm.menu (Right-click/Alt-Enter menu)
~/.ph/shelf/shelf.cfg (The shelf)

If you remove these files and restart Photon, you will get the
default “vanilla” configuration restored.
