Has anybody tried to port wxWindows to Photon (QNX 6.1)? I know there are
various bindings that could be run from XPhoton, such as wxGTK, but we are
interested in a native Photon port, i.e. “wxPhoton”.
We would be interested to hear about any attempt, even unsuccessful.
Thanks.

David,
I started a port about 2 years ago. The base stuff came
along very quickly, but at the time wxWin 2.x wasn’t at
a point where it was stable and I held off going any further.
I suspect that you should be able to get their generic
interface done very quickly with a native photon being
incremental work after that.

wxWindows 2.x is works really stable today.
Is there a way to continue your work (by others) ?
Or makes it more sense to port the GTK stuff to Photon?

Unfortunately not … the hard drive that the work was
on is no longer in service. It shouldn’t be hard to
quickly get the framework going back to the point where
I was however.
