Shelf & volume control

Can somone give me some specifics of what the volume slider in shelf does.
Le tme explain. I’ve put shelf on my audrey, and am using the volume slider
to change the volume. The problem is everytime I reboot the audrey, shelf
comes up with the volume at 30%. is teir a file I’m missing? how does the
volume control normally work under the basic QNX install?

Hi Ben

I have checked with the developer and the volume slider just sends
messages to the audio to change the volume. It’s initial setting is
determined by the current setting in the audio. You can use the mixer
to alter this.
