I have a client who is trying to print a screen image. He brings up his
photon app and goes to take a snapshot of that window. He brings up
snapshot and snaps his screen. The preview looks fine.
If he then tries to print to a postscript printer nothing comes out.
If he then tries to print to a file and read that postscript file from a MAC
it says that the file is invalid.
He can successfully create a BMP or JPG file but that is not an acceptable
option for him.
The postscript file is 4.9 MB in size. Is that a problem?
BTW, to look at the file it looks like a valid postscript file. (i.e. it
ends properly.) Not that either of us claim to be able to read a 4.9 MB
file.

BTW, printing helpviewer pages (including some graphics) and printing from
voyager both seem to work OK. But both produce much smaller postscript
files.

which preview are you talking about the photon viewer(pv) or the print
preview window ?
I have submitted a problem report pv the draw buffer has a 4k maximum.
If you have an image larger than that it causes nothing to come out of
the printer or when you try to save the file as a .phs or .ps it creates
invalid files.
If he then tries to print to a postscript printer nothing comes out.

What do you mean by MAC?
it says that the file is invalid.

Have you tried printing this file?
