Does Phindows 1.2 work with QNXRTP 6.1?

I have QNX RTP 6.1. I also have a licensed copy of
Phindow v1.1. This doesn’t seem to work with the QNX-RTP
machine. Phindows connects, but then I get an all black screen
where I normally get the log-in prompt. I know that the QNX-RTP
system is working because I can use phditto from a QNX4 system to
talk to the RTP system. The Phindows 1.1 does work to talk to the
QNX4 system correctly. I’ve registered for the Phindows Beta, but that
expires I think in March 2002.

I think version 1.2 of Phindows may be a free upgrade from 1.1,
but I don’t know if that version works with the RTP.

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,

Sean

Yes, it works. We use it all the time. However, there’s a very annoying
issue. Voyager and Help (which I assume uses the voyager engine) smear text
when you scroll the window. Makes using Help quite unpleasant.

QSSL, this has been on the defect list for quite some time. Will it be fixed
in 6.2?
