How to use the mpegaudio plugin with photon

Hi all / GUI group,

In the QNX documentation, there are some examples on how to use the multimedia plugins without Photon.

I used the LoadDLL (bla bla) and pctrl = load_plugin(“mpegaudio.so”); This works partly. I have to disable the MvGetMpSetting stuff. My Photon Application is simple, 2 buttons (Start and Stop)
and a PtText widget for entering the MP3 name. Can somebody give me some hints how to get the plugin working properly.

Any directions are welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Freddy

Take a look at the documentation under ‘loading and unloading the
plugins’. This give a good example.

Dave B.

OK… Core dumps all the time.

This is what I did:

Made my own photon app. Used the Realized callback to load the plugin. Then I started the program and it core dumps on me all the time.

Core dump happens after the the message that the plugin is loaded.

Do you have a clue, i don’t know what I do wrong.

Cheers,

Freddy
