CT65550

I have got a Toshiba Satellite Pro 430CDS Laptop, which uses the CT65550
graphics chipset. It’s listed in the “supported hardware” list, but QNX RTP
6.1.0 does not detect it, and I have got no idea on how to specify the
devg-chips_hiqv.so driver, and when I use the “advanced” options in graphics
config photon does not start, and displays the error message “file not
found”. I am obviously a newbie when it comes to QNX, but please, could
anyone enlighten me regarding this problem?

Hi,

Are you running Patch A? If not try intalling it as there were updates to
the devg-chips_hiqv.so driver. There is also a fixed version of the driver on
developers.qnx.com (chips_fix.tar.gz under Fixes)

Regards,

Joe
