…does it exist?

Is it distribuited for free? Or how much does it cost?
Has someone tryed it out? Some comments/suggestions?

If you are in MS Windows, you want Photon in Windows (phindows).
If you are in Linux with X, you want Photon in X (phinx)
http://betas.qnx.com/phinx/

phinx isn’t a linux program, it is a QNX program. It works the same was
as xterm or xeyes work. You telnet into your QNX box, set the display of
your remote machine and run phinx. It will open a remote window as a photon
session.

How can I install it ? If I point the RTP pkg installer to
http://betas.qnx.com/phinx> , I get the following unsatisfied
dependencies:

  • photon_core_patchC
  • xphoton_core_patchA

The pkg installer try to search these pkgs but it does not suxceed…

It is possible to download the phinx already linux-x86 compiled ? Or can
I get the sources and compile it by myself?

Thanx again!

Thanx Chris… this was not so clear to me… now it is.

But what about the unsatified dependencies ?
I’m running RTP 6.1 + patch A, x86 host, and pkg installer says there’s
nothing new into Qnx WWW repository…

Thanks again
