Chips and Technologies 69030
We have problem with this chip.
It don’t work on resolution 1600 x1200.
Resolution 1280x1024 work good.

Can anybody help us.

Hi,

Can you run the ‘grafxscript’ script in the /etc/system/support and send us
the output.
This script will query the system for graphics information the will help us
to see what is happening on your system.

Hi,

The devg-chips_hiqv.so driver sets and gets the supported
modes from the video BIOS, and it appears that 1600x1200 is not
available on your adapter.

There are several options:

  1. Check if there is an upgrade available for the video BIOS that contains
    1600x1200.
  2. Contact your QNX sales rep to look into having a direct modeswitcher done as
    custom engineering.
  3. Download the graphics DDK, (which contains C&T driver in 6.1 DDK) and try
    to implement a direct modeswitcher yourselves.
