6.2.1 Beta newsgroup problem?

Is it just me or is the beta newsgroup not allowing
any access? Keep getting “cannot authenticate” error.

I’ve got the same problem. QSSL support told me to switch news readers.
Something about Outlook that didn’t make sense to me.

I tried to get a clear answer about user and password but failed. I’m using
my standard support plan # and password for authentication, and it gets me
into nntp.qnx.com so I can see all the inn.qnx.com newsgroups, plus
qdn.private.standard, but not the beta newsgroup.

I’m using Opera 6.04 which up to about 4 days ago was working perfectly
on the beta group (and is still working fine on a number of other newsgroups
including inn.qnx.com and comp.os.qnx via my ISP…)

Turns out the beta is over…

Thanks for the info. Seems like the QSSL support person would know something
like that.
