io-graphics coredump

Hey all

io-graphics coredumped on me in 6.2.1beta2
Possibly as result of some bad call I did in my application, but it
shouldn’t core IMHO anyway.

Do you know what you did to cause the core dump?

It looks like it is dying in the fractional pen stuff, which was fixed/changed
for 6.2.1A. The previous code was accessing buffers that could have been in
a volatile state. Can you reproduce this in a test case, so we can double
check that this is what it is?

Ah, Not sure, It’s very possible that I gave those routines some bad
input, I was working on a bug in abiword which suddenly crashed
io-graphics instead of abiword :stuck_out_tongue:
Rather rare, but i’ve seen the same crash before, If I figure some way
to reproduce it i’ll let you know.
Excellent that the updated fractional pen stuff will be in 6.2.1A, I
assume you don’t have any ETA on that?
