Layer-Support for all Radeon-chips?

Hi!

I’ve heard that the new layer-api currently is only on ati-radeon chips
available. Are there any restrictions to particular radeon chips or can I
use all mentioned in the docs:

RADEON
RADEON VE
RADEON 7500
RADEON 8500
RAGE MOBILTY M6

The layer-api is available on all supported Radeon chipsets.
