GCC 2.95.3

Any idea of when GCC 2.95.3 will be supported? Thanks!

‘gcc --version’ shows 2.95.2 but, as far as I know, Colin has applied the
2.95.3 patch to our tree. It’s just that the directory is still 2.95.2 so
that’s the version number that gets compiled in. I’m not sure what patch
level uses 2.95.3 but I’m sure Colin will clear this up before the bits in
this post are dry…

cheers

I haven’t yet done it, we’re concentrating on getting the current 2.95.2 based
release done. 2.95.3 will be applied directly after we release the next
version of QNX 6.

cheers

I never hijack a thread (OK, almost never , but I notice there are many
repositories under staff.qnx.com but it is not always clear how to get to them.
Would QSSL consider publishing a directory of staff repositories and their URLs?

That is not good enough. We need sort of ‘napster’ for repositories,
i.e., a meta-repository. It would be hosted by QNX and would maintain
list of repositories. All repositories would have to advertise
themselves to that big brother (by registering through some dedicated
web-page). Once advertized, they would be polled periodically by
meta-server to have their actual status.

Since Gnutella can share any type of file, and doesn’t require central
administration doesn’t everything required already exist ?

This is mainly a problem with Colin , and certainly other QNX peoples,
because there is lot of interesting things in their personnal repository but
we don’t know what and where we can find it!
