qnx 6.2.1 and Firefox

Hi, my name is Danilo, i’m not expert about Qnx but i’m interested to use this so at home.
I’m not capeable to install firefox (different version, 1.0, 0.9 and 0.8).
With “QNX Software Installer” I receive during the installation this error:
Package: MozillaFirefox 1.0 (x86)
Action: selected to be installed by a dependancy
Dependancy: requires that a package with a “ProvidesLibrary” of libphexlib.so.3 and “Processor” of x86 also be installed.

With the 0.9 and 0.8 version the error regard the libph.so.3

I find on the system the file libphexlib.so.2 only.

Where I can find the required library?

Thank’s in advance and sorry for my bad English.
Danilo

Make sure to get QNX 6.21 version of firefox,

Firefox 0.8 is available for QNX 6.21 here.

Don’t know about newer versions for 6.21 however. Does anyone else?

thank’s for your answer.
i’ve find the 1.0 version on the same site, qnxzone.com/~amardare/mozilla/1.7/

i’ve try the ver 0.8 with the same error…
(ibphexlib.so.3 file missing)

it’s normal that in qnx 6.2.1 this file don’t exists?

thank
danilo

Based on Adrian’s post, the software under

qnxzone.com/~amardare/mozilla/1.7/

is for QNX 6.3.

If you want to stick with the old version of QNX 6.2.1, you will need to download from the URL SmeeAgain posted. Hope you are ok with the older software ;)
