There seems to be 3 common ways of starting an x-app with Xphoton:
-rsh
-rexec
-XDMCP
The last one allows one to run “thinner” between 2 existing
X windows systems.
Is it possible for QNX RtP to support XDMCP?
The command line that I saw being used was
X -query ip.add.re.ss
Apparently commercial X thin clients offer all 3 ways…

It should work, what error messages do you get.
The command line that I saw being used was
X -query ip.add.re.ss
I don’t know enough about xdm to config it properly 
but I was able to get far enough to let
Xphoton -broadcast work
Apparently commercial X thin clients offer all 3 ways…
What are you trying to accomplish?
