Helpviewer notes on pages

Long, long ago I suggested that helpviewer had an option to add personal
notes to specific pages. QSSL agreed that that was a good idea. Of course
it still isn’t here.

Is this something that QSSL could ad as a feature?

If you could make the application and source available I could add it and
give it back to you.

There are certain things that I have had to research more than once. This
could be a tremendous time saver.

Thanks, this was almost two years ago.

Hello Bill,

I ran a search for this and couldn’t find it in our system. I do agree
that this would be a great ability and so I submitted it as a change
request for the future.

Thank you,
Dave B.

While on the subject of the helpviewer what about getting
a search on “devb-eide” or “io-net” to work.

There’s already a problem report about this annoying problem, but it doesn’t
seem to have been fixed yet. If you select Search Topic Text, helpviewer
does find the text, but you get more hits than you probably want.

There’s already a problem report about this annoying problem,

I reported this about 1 year ago. I even had a few email exchange with the
what I beleive was the developer.

There seems to be all these talk about better development Tools,
yet we can’t get freakin’ decent help system, pathetic. One would
think that in the year 200x, such technology would have been
master by now, no?
