Font problems in ph1.14

Hi,
I’m exporting ph1.13 to ph1.14 applications and fonts doesn’t work
properly. For example with helv20 the text doesn’t appears. Only works when
the size is one of the predefined in the font files. For example helv18.
Anybody had this problem?.

I’ve created new programs in 1.14 and helv20 doesn’t show up correctly
either.

Here is the fix. Under photon 1.13 in the font directory is a latin.pfr and
latinx.pfr files.
? Copy them to your 1.14 installation font directory but rename the files so
you don’t overwrite the new latin.pfr and latinx.pfr.
? Copy the lines in the photon v1.13 fontdir file that use the older fonts
into the fontdir file in /usr/photon/font. Change the font name in the
lines to match the new name you have given the font file.
? Run fontcfg -G as root and install the old fonts. There may be
additional steps that need to be taken to make the font function the way it
used to.
